We had a fabulous trip to Butterfield Acres today! The weather cooperated and was perfect! The children milked a goat, fed the goats, visited the pigs, rabbits, horses, sheep, calves, ducks, emus, turkeys, peacocks and got to go on a tractor/wagon ride. Once again, thank you very much to all of the volunteers that assisted to make the trip possible! Also this week at school the children: - built a 3D shape that they will be sharing with you on the weekend - learned about Imani's and Amelia's favorite things and wrote a special message for their Star Student books - the word of the week was "have". Please have your child keep reading everyday and practicing the sight words over the summer! - we released our butterflies yesterday. The children were very interested and engaged in observing the life cycle of the butterflies. We were very sad to say goodbye to them but we understand that they have to continue on the cycle of life! Have a fabulous weekend and a very Happy Father's Day Dads!!
